These Terms and Conditions govern your use of www.gleamequipment.ie and any purchase made through our website. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Prices and VAT
- All prices displayed include VAT at the applicable Irish rate (23% standard rate)
- Prices are in Euros (EUR)
- We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice
- The price charged will be that displayed at the time of order
3. Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit/Debit Card (Stripe): Visa, Mastercard, American Express. PCI DSS Level 1 certified.
- PayPal: Pay with your PayPal account or card via PayPal.
- Bank Transfer: Order processed upon receipt of payment (1-3 business days).
All payments are processed securely. We do not store your card details.
4. Order Process
- Add products to your cart
- Proceed to checkout and enter delivery details
- Select payment method and complete payment
- Receive order confirmation email
- Receive shipping confirmation with tracking number

6. Right of Withdrawal (Consumer Rights)
14-Day Cooling-Off Period
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 (Ireland) and EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.

6.2 Exceptions
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Sealed goods which were unsealed after delivery and are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons
- Goods made to customer specifications or clearly personalised
- Goods which deteriorate or expire rapidly
6.3 Return Costs
You are responsible for the cost of returning goods unless they are faulty or not as described.
6.4 Refund
We will refund all payments received within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
7. Warranty and Guarantees
7.1 Legal Guarantee (B2C)
Under Irish and EU consumer law, all products come with a minimum 2-year legal guarantee against defects. If a product is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to:
- Repair or replacement
- Price reduction or full refund (if repair/replacement not possible)
7.2 Business Customers (B2B)
For business customers, warranty terms are as per manufacturer specifications, typically 12 months.

These terms are governed by Irish law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. However, if you are a consumer resident in the EU, you may also bring proceedings in your country of residence.
